July 21, 2008   Summer Regional Training was held at Vance Middle School in Bristol. Registration began at 8:30AM. Programs began at 9AM.

President's Luncheon  Each month the JCCPTAs sponsors a luncheon for the PTA/PTSA Presidents from each of our member schools. The business meeting is followed by lunch and an educational program.

 

September 5, 2008 WJHL's Jack Dempsey Addresses JCCPTAs

 

 

 

 

Jack Demspey, General Manager of WJHL, spoke before a meeting of the Johnson City Council of PTAs on September 5, 2008. Mr Dempsey provided information on WJHL's switch to

 an all digital format in February 2009. The FCC mandated that all full powered tv stations broadcasting above a 3kW power range on stations 2-13 (or 150kW

August 26, 2008 Fairmont Students Win a Visit from the Johnson City Cardinals.

 

JCCPTAs hosted PTA Night with the Cardinals. Membership tables were set up for parents and friends to join PTA and support their favorite school. Fairmont Elementary School had the most Membership Applications during the game and won a visit from the Cardinals for the entire school.
