Hospitality Chair Information
The position of Hospitality Chair is unique to each local unit and council. You should receive a notebook outlining your responsibilities. You will work closely with the President and Programs Chairpersons to develop a course of action most suited to your local unit. Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Providing A "Welcome Back" Breakfast/Lunch to the faculity and staff of your school in the fall.
Providing snacks and volunteers for a "Back-To-School Meet and Greet".
Recruiting volunteers to make goodies for the faculity and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week.
Catering Luncheons for School Board Members, visiting Council or State PTA representatives.
Assisting with the preparations for Local and Regional Training sessions
Decorating for special events.
Preparing "Welcome to Our School" treat baskets for new teachers.
Providing drinks and snacks for SIP, Four-Year Plan, and Parent-Teacher Conference events.
Other duties as required by your President and Board of Managers.
